The designers friend, Val Esway, totally rocks in her music and in her cooking! This pattern is based on Val's favorite vintage apron. It was in very sad shape when she rescued it from her kitchen and took it off to give it a new life as a vintage pattern reproduction. You are going to love the results.

The apron has a separate neck piece, a heart-shaped pocket and it provides full frontal coverage for cooking. The edges are finished with bias binding. You can make this one out of just a bit more than one yard of fabric. Go out, get some great cotton and have fun sewing!

One size.

I made this apron for my mother who just published a cookbook. It turned out so cute!!!! I made it out of two Ruby Star cottons with a third cotton as the binding. I also bought the bias tape maker which made made the binding a breeze and truthfully, I got kinda addicted to making bias! Super fun pattern to sew and a big hit as a gift!
