Bird & Berry Bookmark Kit

This Birds and Berry design was first produced as wallpaper in 1893. This cross stitch kit from DMC provides you with an opportunity to engage with the artwork in a new way. Recreating the design in stitch adds depth and texture.

Voysey was an English architect and furniture and textile designer. His early work involved designing wallpapers, furnishings and fabrics in an Arts and Crafts style. The Arts and Crafts movement attempted to reform design and decoration in mid-19th century Britain as a reaction against machine and factory production, which was felt to have reduced decorative and fine arts.

This kit includes everything you need to recreate a section of The Kiss in thread. It contains Six-Strand Embroidery Floss on an organizer​, 14-count Aida fabric, backing card, a needle and easy-to-follow instructions.
