They are Oeko-Tex certified along with complying with the FDA food safety standard, and are coated with a water based polyurethane coating making them BPA, PVC, and DEHP free along with being waterproof and biodegradable! It gets better, they are responsibly and sustainably produced, and unlike standard oilcloth and most laminated cottons, they are machine washable, dryable, and even ironable!
