This print from Leslie Tucker Jenison's collection Prairie Song features abstract layers of murky green, rusty brown and steel blue overlaid with crisp white silhouettes of dandelions and wildflowers. Leslie finds inspiration in the repeating patterns found in nature and urban environments alike and creates her designs by working directly onto cloth with fiber-reactive dyes. This design is printed on a smooth, fine weave cotton similar to a poplin which lends itself perfectly to both quilts and garments.
