This print from Leslie Tucker Jenison's collection Prairie Song features abstract layers of deep ocean blue and forest green overlaid with silhouettes of dandelions and pine needles in mint green. Leslie finds inspiration in the repeating patterns found in nature and urban environments alike and creates her designs by working directly onto cloth with fiber-reactive dyes. This design is printed on a smooth, fine weave cotton similar to a poplin which lends itself perfectly to both quilts and garments.
