Main Fabric: Heavier weight knits with 10% - 20% 2-way stretch, such as sweatshirt fleece, french terry, double knit, and ponte. The Brunswick is drafted for and works best with heavier-weight 2-way stretch fabrics (especially sweatshirt fleece), but the pattern also details a few simple alterations that can be made to achieve a good fit for drapier outerwear fabrics, such as French terry and thicker sweater knits.

If your fabric is wider than 54", try laying out the pattern pieces on the fabric width; if you can fit the front and back of the Brunswick side by side (or upside down, if fabric is suitable), you may be able to eliminate half a yard from the fabric requirements.
