The Greer Jumpsuit is a casual, relaxed fit one-piece with beachy boho vibes.
View A is a full bodice sleeveless jumpsuit with a v-neckline, armscye bust darts, and a center back zip for dressing. The neckline and armscyes are finished with self-fabric bias tape. You can make a short sleeve View A with an included add-on pattern piece, which can even be cut from the Greer base fabric requirements!
View B is a simplified overalls silhouette with tie straps at the shoulders. The sides are finished with self bias tape and the front and back have facings at the top so the bias tape and straps are all enclosed for a neat finish. Both views can be made as ankle-length pants or mid-thigh length shorts, with or without pockets. This pattern works great for any time you need to look cute but feel comfy, whether you're lounging at home, gardening, running errands, or enjoying some time in the sun! Throw it in your bag for your next vacation or wear it as a swim cover. And of course, there’s always the original intent behind this garment – an easy-on/easy-off outfit for when you’re sewing something that requires frequent try-ons and alterations! Now you don’t have to sew in your underwear!

Recommended Fabrics: It is designed to look best in very drapey wovens, such as rayon linen, linen blends, rayon blends, cotton and cotton blends, or raw silk. Linen blends are perfect for achieving that laid-back vibe!

The fabrics used for the samples shown are as follows, in order from most soft and drapey to least: Viscose Linen Noil (maroon shorts), Brussels Washer Linen Blends (sage pants), 100% linen (striped shorts), and Essex Linen Blends (striped pants). Each of these fabrics works really well for the Greer, it just depends on the style you’re hoping to achieve. If you compare the sage View A pants and the railroad striped View B pant versions you can really see the difference that drape makes!

Materials/Notions:
-coordinating thread
-scrap of fusible interfacing, 4" x 8"
-View A: 20" nylon coil non-separating zipper. Invisible zipper can be used with concealed zipper foot.
