Viscose Linen Noil

Viscose Linen Noil is one of our favorite substrates to work with here at Harts! It is created from a blend of linen and viscose, a type of rayon made from wood pulp. Noil refers to the short or knotted fibers that are combed from long fibers during the textile’s preparation, giving this linen blend its soft and slubby texture, reminiscent of raw silk.

This luscious opaque fabric has medium weight (6.78 oz per square yard/230 GSM), breathability and a wonderful drape, making it the perfect choice for tops, skirts, dresses, jumpsuits or flowy pants. This beautiful fabric would also lend itself to drapery and other home decor.

The range of saturated colors is an inspiration in itself! Combined with the beautiful drape and ease of care, our Viscose Linen Noil has become a long-time customer and employee favorite.
