These classic men’s trousers look like dress pants but feel more like sweatpants. Designed for woven fabrics with some stretch, it’s the details that make these trousers special. They include a classic zipper fly with zipper shield, angled front pockets with a concealed change pocket, back darts, back welt pockets, and a waistband with elastic side panels. Fabric Recommendations: lightweight trouser fabrics like cotton twill, canvas, and wool suiting with at least a little stretch. (They’ll be more comfortable with a stretch fabric, although they can be made using fabric without stretch.)

Notions: Coordinating thread, lightweight fusible interfacing, zipper (9" or longer), one 5/8" button, one hook and bar closure, and 3/4 yard of 1"–1 1/8" elastic.
