The Scout was inspired by 1920's women's scouting uniforms. Make as a neat shirt or dress with optional tie. The dress has in-seam pockets. All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated. Skill level - intermediate.
Fabric Recommendations: woven fabrics such as linen and linen blends, lightweight denim, cotton chambray, poplin, and lawn and broadcloth. If you choose something with less drape the top will have a more sculptural look.
Notions:
- 6 x 11-15mm/½ - ¾" buttons
- 0.5M/¾yd interfacing shirt & dress
- 0.8M/1yd interfacing for the tie (cut on the bias)
