It has a straight shape, features hidden front pockets with large flaps, and snap buttons for closing at the front. The pattern includes both a lined and an unlined version. The vest is not difficult to sew and can be transformed from skill level average to easy in no time if you skip the lining and perhaps use sew-on snap buttons, or no buttons, for the first one.

Fabric Recommendations: mid weight fabrics such as wool, canvas, Essex linen blends, corduroy and denim but almost any fabric would work! The dark navy vest is sewn in beautiful heavy-weight wool.
