The Riley pattern is a classic overall design with a relaxed fit and two lengths. View A is a shorts length with an approximate 6 inch inseam (4 inch rolled). View B is full length with a straight fit through the leg and an approximate 28 inch inseam (26 inch rolled). All views have a front bib with patch pockets, rear patch pockets, belt loops and a faux fly.
Fabric Recommendations: Main Fabric : Medium to heavy bottomweight fabrics with little to no stretch such as denim, corduroy, twill, linen and linen blends and suiting. Pocket Lining Fabric : 1/2 yd Lightweight woven fabrics such as quilting cotton, cotton lawn, cotton voile, linen and rayon.
Notions:
- 1/3 yd of medium weight fusible interfacing
- 2 x 1.5" (38mm) overall clasps
- 2 x 1.5" (38mm) overall sliders
- 6 x 11/16" (17mm) jean tack buttons
- denim sewing machine needle
