Dritz Quilting Wash away Wonder Tape 0.25'' 10 Yds is a double-sided tape that completely disappears after the first wash. The pack contains a 10-yard roll of 0.25-inch wash away tape. This wash away tape can be stitched in place without gumming up needles and is a wonderful alternative to pinning and thread basting. Use it to position appliques, pockets or zippers. It can also be used for holding fabric pieces to paper for foundation piecing.

Particularly helpful for zippers

Wonder tape is really helpful for zippers - put the tape on the seam allowance and fit the zipper on top. You can adjust the tape as necessary, and the zipper will lay flatter than if you had used pins. And it washes out! Also useful for quick seams.
