A simple dog coat sewing pattern for your furry friend. Make it bagged out with lining or lined with bound edges.
Fabric suggestions - Oilskin, dry oilskin, cotton jacquard, mid-heavy cotton canvas or twill, mid-weight denim or corduroy. For the lining, we would suggest barrier lining or a simple stable cotton. Consider if you will want to put this dog coat in the washing machine when choosing cloth - for example oilskin cannot be washed - you would let the dirt dry and then brush it off.
