Ozark is a workwear-inspired vest, perfect for transitional weather over a sweater or hoodie. The Ozark sewing pattern has big patch pockets on the outside and inside. The outer layer is in canvas, and the inside is lined with quilted lining. The collar is cut in rib material, and the Vest is closed with a heavy metal zipper.
Skill level 3/4 The design is straightforward with a zipper installation. When you follow the directions step by step, you will make a beautiful Ozark Vest.
Fabric Recommendations: heavy woven fabric for the outside layer such as canvas, denim or heavy twill. For the inside layer, use quilted fabric (or get creative and quilt some yourself), fleece or even flannel. Use heavy ribbing for the collar.
