The Sandbridge Skirt is a casual raw-hem denim skirt that's loaded with traditional jeans elements like a functional zipper fly, a back yoke, belt loops, and five pocket styling -- which make a great blank slate on the back for personalizing with top stitched designs! Both views are designed to be worn at the low waist for a relaxed style, with a comfy countoured waistband that's finished with bias tape for an easy professional finish and fun pop of color.

The causal View A hits mid-thigh with straight side seams at the hem that make it very easy to shorten this view for a true mini-skirt length. View B hits just above the knee and lends itself to fancier styles or cold weather styling with its longer, slimming look. A double line of stay stitching at the hem provides some great contrast in addition to preventing the fraying from moving upwards.

Recommended Fabrics:
The Sandbridge can be made with stretch or non-stretch bottom weight fabrics such as denim, corduroy, twill, velvet, or sateen. For fabrics that don’t work well with a raw hem, there are instructions for sewing a traditional turned up hem as well.

The separate pocket bags and contoured waistband facing provide fun opportunities for using a cute printed fabric, such as quilting cotton.
